Every day for almost a year, Google has sent me anything it finds in the preceding 24 hours about Positive Thinking. (You see, I worked two days a month for 18 years with Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, raising $250 million for his charities.)
Today I found your kind quotation ascribed to me & thank you for it.
I also spied, back on 1/21/08, two sentences from Orison Swett Marden,whose out-of-copyright book from the early 20th century was lately reprinted by Newsmax.com, thanks to its founder, Christopher Ruddy, who hired me to write a modern introduction to it.
The most common quotation of mine now floating around began its round-the-world jaunt somewhere in Indonesia a few years ago when a Rotary Club put it in a magazine:
"Opportunity is a moving target. And the bigger the opportunity, the faster it moves."
The bestselling of my several books is "Pray and Grow Rich" which analyzes "Seven Overlooked Secrets from the Bible that Control Your Wealth, Success and Happiness."
I expect to begin promoting it once again on the Web. I knew it was hard to get when it was selling in the UK for as much as $150 and STILL sells on Amazon for up to $55 here in the USA —— for a USED copy! I sold it for $13.
